The Hungarian Catalysis Society (MTA Katalízis Munkabizottság) belongs
to the Committee on Physical Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry under the
VI. Section of Chemical Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Our society brings together over 50 active members from freshly
graduated PhD students to professor emerita, who work at universities
and national research institutions in the field of catalysis. The
mission of the Society is to foster PhD graduations, exchange up-to-date
findings between the groups, facilitate international relations and
nurture the tradition and heritage of the Hungarian research community.
The membership is free, there is no independent budget of the Society.
